Reykjavík Project Space and FUGL
Reykjavík Project Space is run by FUGL, a Critical Artists’ Collective.
The aim of FUGL is to foster critical discourse in connection with art practice in Icaland and abroad.
In order to attain the above aim we will:
- The organization of events in Reykjavík under the heading Reykjavík Project Space where selected artists install work in the urban scene intended to question, in an effective manner, present day art and society, and in order to provoke discussion.
- Publish a Website where:
a. the context of the project work will be treated in critique.
b. a forum for discussion about critical art and related matters will be provided. - Participate actively in international platforms which are
intended to further critical art and discussion.
In the year 2005 FUGL organized 12 shows in an exhibition space run in collobaration with Indriði's Taylor Shop at Skólavörðustígur 10 in Reykjavík Iceland.
